While the population temporarily settles on a Croatian island, Icelandic journalist EL.N investigates the disappearance of her seismologist brother during the evacuation. Her search reveals that her brother was murdered to conceal the fact that the Icelanders won’t be returning home - quite the opposite, their government plans to establish Icelandic sovereignty on the Croatian island.
